Review by hotel critic
If you're planning a trip to Be’er Sheva, the Eshel Hotel is a practical option to consider, particularly if you're visiting for business, university matters, or the nearby hospital. The hotel is modest, offering essential comforts without the added frills typical of luxury stays. My room was spacious and clean, complete with a comfortable bed and reliable hot water—definitely a must after a long journey. The electric kettle and tea/coffee facilities in the room were a welcome touch, allowing for a calming cup of tea after checking in. There’s also a pleasant sitting area if you want to take a break from your day. The flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi provided, while basic, were sufficient for my needs. The staff were helpful, and Mort, the manager, made my arrival a breeze despite the language barrier. You’ll find several restaurants nearby, making it easy to grab a bite without venturing too far. While Eshel isn’t the height of luxury, it offers good value. For the price, it’s tough to beat in this town—allowing you to save for other experiences. All things considered, it’s a sensible choice for travelers to Be’er Sheva.
